Home Ford Island: October 10th, 1941 On December 7th, 1941, the Japanese Empire attacked, without warning, Pearl Harbor. Shortly after the attack America declares a declaration of war. In a famous speech given by the then President Roosevelt states that it is a “date that will live in infamy”. America was caught off guard on December 7th, when Japan deliberately attacked Pearl Harbor. This website is about the attack on Pearl Harbor that occurred on December 7th, 1941.
